Wonder Woman E Male

Respected Sir,

With reference to the communication directing me to report to the Centre and regularise my absence, I am willing to report and complete the prescribed resignation and Guest House vacation formalities.

I respectfully request that my absence may first be considered under the applicable CCS (Leave) Rules and DoPT instructions relating to regularisation of unauthorised absence. The DoPT instructions provide that where the competent authority is satisfied that the grounds for absence are justified, leave of the kind applied for and due and admissible may be granted under the CCS (Leave) Rules.

My absence was connected with my medical circumstances, which were known to the Centre. The Director, along with members of my section, personally came to my room and took me to the hospital when I was in a severely weakened condition. I also possess the medical records relating to my treatment and consultations.

I therefore request that my medical circumstances and available medical records be considered and that leave on medical grounds, including leave due and admissible under the applicable CCS (Leave) Rules, be considered for regularisation of the relevant period. I specifically request that the period not be treated as Extraordinary Leave without pay without first considering the leave available and admissible to me under the Rules.

I also request that I may kindly be informed in writing as to how the Centre proposes to regularise my absence, including the type of leave/status proposed to be assigned to the relevant period, before I complete the resignation formalities. This will enable me to understand the treatment of the period in my service record and the consequential treatment of my salary and other admissible dues.

I am ready to report to the Centre and complete the prescribed formalities for resignation, Guest House vacation and relieving.

Yours faithfully,

Ashwini Singh Chandel
