Gold is a unique element. While I am not denying it’s role in investment purpose.
But you have to understand what investment really is.
When you invest in something which generally increases in value it does not mean the value of the investment is increasing but the value of Money is going to shit.
First reason is inflation. It is a direct result of printing notes with lesser value than before.
Printing notes is good only if you export more than import.
Second is collective entropy of system always increases. So an asset value should decrease and not increase with time. Otherwise value of living things is decreasing.
Gold price can never increase if countries with more export than import don’t export false dreams like USA.
This is because Gold is not a consumable. It is a psychological assurance against world economic collapse. Economy is driven by curiosity. Curiosity is a feature of healthy mind. A healthy mind is a mind that eat equally than it shit.
Real Gold is mind shit and not mined shit. Ie the information exchanged selflessly. But since most minds are uneducated all they exchange is sounds. Yes shit being the first draft is not very useful in original form. That’s why it is processed, purified, alloyed and then assigned weight.
But one can always improve his/her mind so that the shit produced is somewhat easy to make usable.
Otherwise you are just shitting useless Gold. This is because Gold cannot be eaten. It can only be shitted by nature. It is of use to homo sapiens only.
In behavioural terms buying gold without even knowing the meaning of Gold for you is buying nature’s shit. It is of no use to nature but only to homo sapiens. But can homo sapiens survive with just Gold and no nature.
Every country’s gold either goes to central banks or jewellery which I personally find disgusting. Nature doesn’t want Gold. That’s why it do not consume it. So any other use other than shitting Gold is not natural.
By shitting I mean shitifying it’s monetary value. Every person can do that on personal level. In fact that should be the only purpose of your life till it is completely shitifyed ie of zero value to you atleast as investment or jewellery.☝️
