There are thousands of coachings and Exams in India.
In NEET in India about 20 Lakha people give exam. And of which 1 lakha are selected.
For IITs around 2.5 Lakhs. And around 18000 seats.
I don’t think making coaching cheap have any benefit.
First of all why 2.5 Lakh students for 18000 seats.
10 people for 1 seat. in IITs. 20 people for 1 seat in NEET.

That’s not a big number. But are our coaching institutes so brainless in statistics and probability.
If there were 10 seats and 100 students competing then one can say each seat has 10 competitors.
But for 18000 seats it is obviously not like that.
Following is just estimation. Actual figure may vary but will be close.
For First 5000 only one person per seat.
Next 5000 2 person per seat. next 5000 3 and next 5000 4. So total number that should be sitting for an Exam having 20000 seat should be
5000 + (2*5000) + (3*5000) +(4*5000)
which is equal to 50000. One fifth of actual numbers.
In case for tier two colleges Exam like JEE Mains.
67000 seats and 15 Lakhs candidates.
So approximately 22 student competing for 1 seat.
This is also not a big number.
But can coaching institute teach this much that statistically not all are of same IQ.

Probability of higher IQ decreases in population. So even though 15 Lakhs student sit in exam. Most of them can compete only in the lower ranks.
And most of them are out of competition.
So For 60000 roughly
10000 + (10000*2) + (10000*3) + (10000*4) + (10000*5) + (10000*6)
which is equal to 2.1 Lakhs should give Exam.
But most low IQ kids either don’t know or don’t want to know.
If Success in academics is IQ dependent then the first step is probable to be false for low IQ population.
Don’t the coaching institutes know this. They teach high school stuff.
Making coaching Cheap

Earlier atleast affordability was a barrier that prevented excess people unnecessarily giving the Exam.
It was not ideal situation. The high IQ low income students could not compete well.
But still as a country many student were saved as low IQ in any income level are high in numbers.
Over crowding will not make better engineers or doctors.
The real passion is made so far away that the really passionate one find other alternatives though not best or cheapest.
Those who are just crowd could not do things of their interest and end up with some mediocre or low level job.
But all have potential. In their own field.
I think till here everybody knows. I was just reiterating.
Civil Services

All of the over crowding from first stage itself is seen clearly in civil services Exam.
For Civil services There are about 1000 seats and 13 lakhs candidates.
So 1300 competing for 1 seat.
Ideally for 1000 seats maximum
(1+2+3+4+5+5+7+8+9+10)*100 = 5500 should give the Exam.
What is wrong with our education system ?
There is clearly something wrong but who is responsible.
Is the Government responsible ?
No.

The Real people responsible are Teachers. All the teachers. weather they teach in schools or coaching, doesn’t matter expensive or cheap or free.
There was no other way of livelihood so I became teacher.
It’s teacher’s job to make those option in inevitable in the country.
So saying I became teaching because I had no other options is saying since the level of teaching in our country is shit and I am also a shit teacher. So I became. teacher to make it even shittier.
The system is like that you say. System doesn’t allow to do the Job of teaching. Then what are you doing there.
You should say I am doing this corrupt job because not even teaching job was available.
Then you can say Govt is Responsible.
And it’s not possible Govt will not listen.
And even if it doesn’t listen the students will and will not be protesting like now which is like hitting their own head against the wall.
The problem is you all never cared to know the true God. CJP did although after the God himself had to appear to those he saw most worthy. He didn’t mind that they were cockroaches.
Where is he Now ?
I don’t know. Maybe reading this post.
