A house is going viral on the internet. It’s green. I think you all know which one. People are calling it miracle. Is it though ?
A natural calamity due to human nature took place. About 5000 plus people are dead. Yet nobody is talking about the Green House effect. They are taking about the House that was green but some other effect.
Emission are at regular previous levels. Nothing has changed in that respect. I like to see everything as a sign. It may or may not be true but I know one fact that the observer is observed. How can the tragedy caused by an agency fight the agency itself.
It should have a feedback cycle for that to happen. A negative feedback. Positive feedback if you know control systems can never stabilize the output. It will reinforce it.
Let me explain in simple language. Global warming is because of green house effect and global warming caused the flash flood in Nepal.
Now for such incidents to not happen or to mitigate it’s effect, Green house effect must be reduced. For that whatever that is causing Green house effect must get a feedback from its result to reduce the Green house effect. Am I making sense or is it too technical for you.
So if X amount of some activity causes Y amount of Green House effect then Y must signal to reduce X and not increase X. If it signals to change X as how the Y changes then what you get is a out of control system.
I saw the news from the begining but don’t know why was I not at all moved by it for approximately 2 days. I don’t know what was going on in my mind but it surely was not Nepal. Only when the death count crossed 2000 I came to my senses to not be so insensitive.
OK so where was I ?
That Green House protected a few people. But what is the sign that I must convey to everybody. Just because it’s green doesn’t mean it’s safe and just because it’s safe doesn’t mean it’s green. The house may be green but it did not saved anyone not inside it. All other houses were swept away like house of cards. Only Green house survived.
What does it says. It says there is more to come. If the result Y which was flood could not signal reduction of X that is reduction of Green house effect then it’s positive feedback or in simple language climate change is real.
Green Tech
Green tech like that green house will not save the whole planet. Only those who are using it. Let me clear that up. It will only save those who can afford it and that too very marginally and for limited duration. Then that green tech will itself become the harbinger of more Green house effect. Are you catching my point.,☝️
