Let’s find the identity for Pakistan and China and try to solve the Kashmir and other Issues with Indian state boundaries.
Let’s start…
Anger is a result of two things. Needs not met and hurt. Internally it is need not met.
Pakistan is a dog identity in me. China is my brother(Huge sister) identity. My Indian identity has boundary problems with these two. Indian self is compromised.
The dog in me sacrifices the Indian in me but then later identifies and correct the problem. Like operation Sindoor.
Similarly the big brother in me sacrifices the Indian in me. But this is a more permanent problem which requires serious inquiry and correction.
Examples
Dog
I become overly competitive in academics calling it service when in reality it’s just me being territorial. I forget the whole India is my territory. Not just College.
Big Brother
I am as a brother in a habit of saving undeserving people that I should not as an Indian. And it is bad because Indian self has bigger Ego boundary and is suppose to be bigger.
My Indian self retaliate with Corona. But at present also I am not free from this habit. I am still protecting some undeserving people.
Who is it ? Must be my brother or sister. The only way I can remove social protection of anyone is blogging at the moment. Otherwise I am at house arrest. I can physically not do anything to anybody. May be me writing this post from many days now but not posting is the cleanest expression of this habit at the moment. Maybe empathy is binding my vision.
I think it is both of my younger sisters.
They have utilised me to fullest rather I have let them utilize me. Both their marriage is smooth because of me.
Elder one was with affair right in front of my nose and haven’t shown a pinch of remorse or guilt. Instead I have apologized for her hiding and even took some serious hittings with sticks in the public. My mother also either refuse to accept the truth or tell me lie on my face. Which one it is I don’t know? My younger sister was the only one in family who knew. But elder one kept doing in front of her. She went into depression because of this. But finally She disclosed it. But now have no problem. It was only temporary and situation dependent and not because of any ideology or morals.
She married after 8 years of affair. It could happen only because of me. I had to give up my possibility of love marriage. Petty siblings rivalry. Many times people told me that she is having affair but when I ask she never let me know. She only tell mother which is like using my Ego the default error in everyone. I didn’t attended her marriage because she only told when I quit my job. Had she told me earlier I would not have worked 8 years in NTPC because of delusion of responsibility of her marriage.
My Indian self didn’t allowed me attending her marriage. I drove 180 km a day before on scooty to Sagar and spend the day of marriage in Ashirwad Hotel Civil lines Sagar. Actually this info is extra. I don’t necessarily need to tell this for the purpose I said above. But only telling because of the word Ashirwad floating in media today.
It was asking too much from a person just two year older and with much more devotion to nation than merely satisfying being a brother to just like any other ordinary citizens.
Later after marriage I come to know the surname of which she applies Sindoor is Vishwakarma which is OBC. Who is the one in reality?
Anyway So Now that I know I should reallocate that place to the right person, their child. Only then it will reflect outside in Geo Politics. My business is Their Child and not the real embodied one they delivered. I think this is enough space for them in my life.
I don’t have any grudge as before because now I know the futility of romantic relationship as well. Only complain is I could have known this earlier.

Why is it so difficult to solve?
There are essentially three overlapping disputes:
India ↔ Pakistan:
Who has sovereignty over the disputed territory?
India/Pakistan ↔ local political aspirations:
What political arrangement do people living in the different parts of Kashmir want?
India ↔ China:
Who controls and has territorial claims over areas in the eastern part of the former princely state?
And there is a fourth problem: security. India and Pakistan are nuclear-armed states, so military escalation around Kashmir carries unusually high risks. The UN has repeatedly urged restraint during periods of heightened tension.
How to Solve ?
The important sequence
August 1947
India and Pakistan become independent
↓
Maharaja Hari Singh initially remains undecided
↓
October 1947
Armed tribal forces enter Kashmir from the Pakistan side
↓
26 October 1947
Maharaja signs accession to India
↓
27 October 1947
Indian troops arrive in Srinagar
↓
1947–48
India-Pakistan war over Kashmir
↓
1949
UN-backed ceasefire
↓
The territory becomes divided between areas administered by India and Pakistan.
But there is an important difference in the two countries’ historical narratives about these events. India describes the October incursion as a Pakistan-backed attack that preceded the accession; Pakistan has historically disputed India’s interpretation of the accession and argued that Kashmir’s status remained unresolved. Contemporary records show that even Pakistan’s leadership contested India’s account of the accession and India’s subsequent military intervention.
Solution
I and my siblings were born much after these incidents so I can only map the current life situation with the situation of the world.
My elder sister is India let’s suppose and my younger sister is pakistan. That makes me Jammu and Kashmir.
My name is Ashwini. My elder sister name is Anshu. My youngest sister name is Akanksha.
Ashwini is Girls name in South India while Boys name in North. In mythology it is name of Twin brothers who were doctors to God.
Akanksha means desire or wish.
Anshu means ray of sunlight but let it be Ansh U for purpose of this discussion. Ansh means a part of larger whole.
Also LOC almost devide Kashmir into two North and South.
While growing up I morally had chance who to side with elder or younger or independence but was robbed of that choice. It is analogous to Maharaja Hari situation after 1947.
But both elder and younger one tried to have control. Some higher entity like UN intervened and draw a LOC inside me.
The North part is POK is male Ashwini, brother to younger sister ie, Pakistan.
The South part is female Ashwini, sister to elder sister ie, India.
Now let’s have some more facts
The political preferences of people living on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC), the picture is quite different from simply saying “Kashmiris want India” or “Kashmiris want Pakistan.”
The broad picture
| Region | Current administration | What the available evidence shows about political preferences |
|---|---|---|
| Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) | Pakistan | Older direct polling found substantial support for Pakistan and independence, with very little support for joining India. |
| Gilgit-Baltistan | Pakistan | Political preferences differ from AJK; there have been significant demands for greater representation, autonomy and/or integration with Pakistan. |
| Kashmir Valley | India | Older polling found particularly strong support for independence, while support for joining India was relatively low. |
| Jammu | India | Much more pro-India than the Kashmir Valley; older polling found strong support for remaining with India. |
| Ladakh | India | Views differ between Leh and Kargil; political priorities have included autonomy, representation and protection of local interests. |
What about the present political situation?
On the Pakistan-administered side, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan have elected institutions, but their autonomy is limited and Pakistan’s federal institutions retain substantial influence. Recent 2026 reporting also shows significant local political and economic grievances in AJK, including protests concerning representation and the relationship with Islamabad.
On the Indian-administered side, Jammu & Kashmir held Legislative Assembly elections in 2024 after a decade without state elections. The resulting government is led by the National Conference, while Jammu and the Kashmir Valley continue to have substantially different political patterns. Ladakh remains a separate Union Territory without a territorial legislature
One useful survey
A 2009 Chatham House survey actually interviewed people on both sides of the LoC. It found:
AJK: 50% chose joining Pakistan; 44% chose independence; only 1% chose joining India.
Indian-administered J&K overall: 43% chose independence, 28% chose India and 2% chose Pakistan.
But the Indian side was extremely regionally divided:
Kashmir Valley: independence was the dominant preference in the surveyed areas.
Jammu: support for independence was below 1%, while joining India was strongly preferred.
Kargil: support for joining India was particularly high.
Leh: preferences were more mixed.
The best district-level dataset is the Chatham House “Kashmir: Paths to Peace” survey, conducted in September–October 2009 with 3,774 respondents. It covered 11 of 14 districts in Indian-administered J&K and 7 of 8 districts in AJK. It did not cover Gilgit-Baltistan.
District-level preference map
The figures below are % choosing that option in the 2009 survey, not current 2026 polling.
| Region / district | 🇮🇳 Join India | 🇵🇰 Join Pakistan | 🟨 Independent Kashmir | Other notable preference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Srinagar | 8% | 6% | 82% | — |
| Anantnag | 22% | 2% | 74% | — |
| Baramulla | 2% | 2% | 95% | — |
| Badgam | 10% | 7% | 75% | — |
| Jammu | 47% | ~0% | 1% | 39% LoC |
| Udhampur | 73% | 0% | 0% | 14% LoC |
| Kathua | 63% | 0% | 0% | 3% LoC |
| Poonch | 6% | 0% | 0% | 94% LoC |
| Rajouri | 0% | 0% | 0% | 100% LoC |
| Leh | 67% | 0% | 30% | — |
| Kargil | 80% | 0% | 20% | — |
Pakistan-administered AJK
| District | 🇮🇳 India | 🇵🇰 Pakistan | 🟨 Independence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Muzaffarabad | 3% | 51% | 43% |
| Mirpur | 0% | 46% | 47% |
| Bhimber | ~0% | 42% | 47% |
| Kotli | 1% | 52% | 42% |
| Poonch (AJK) | 0% | 39% | 58% |
| Bagh | 1% | 64% | 31% |
| Sudhanoti | 0% | 55% | 45% |
So AJK was not uniformly pro-Pakistan: independence was a major preference in several districts, while joining Pakistan was the largest individual option in others.
What the map shows
The striking feature is the regional divide:
Kashmir Valley → predominantly independence in this survey
Srinagar 82%, Anantnag 74%, Baramulla 95%, Badgam 75%.
Jammu → predominantly India or LoC, with virtually no independence/Pakistan preference
Jammu 47% India; Udhampur 73%; Kathua 63%. Poonch and Rajouri were unusual: respondents overwhelmingly preferred the LoC becoming a permanent border rather than India, Pakistan or independence.
Ladakh → predominantly India, although some preferred independence
Kargil 80% India; Leh 67% India.
AJK → Pakistan and independence were the two major choices
Overall, 50% selected Pakistan and 44% independence; only 1% selected India.
An important limitation
This cannot be used to say what Kashmiris want today. The survey is from 2009, before major developments including the 2019 constitutional changes in Indian-administered J&K. There is no equally comprehensive, recent district-by-district survey covering both sides of the LoC that I can use to produce a 2026 map.
Also, Gilgit-Baltistan is missing from this dataset. So a genuinely complete map of the entire former princely state would require separate evidence for that region.
One particularly interesting finding is that 85% overall said they would accept the LoC as a permanent border in some form if people and/or trade could move freely across it—27% wanted it permanent in its existing form and another 58% would accept it with freer movement/trade.
That is quite different from assuming that the only possible solutions are India vs Pakistan.
The data and facts above are too much for me.
I should leave them for my sisters.
All I can say from my side is I have always wanted to be free from both of them.
The male Ashwini are also mythologically twin brothers which corresponds to Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK.
Both are twin with respect to being least interested in becoming siblings of elder sister.(The Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK in POK don’t want to join India.)
Gilgit-Baltistan Ashwini is North of POK so male and therefore twins again. Both wants to stay with Pakistan but half want more autonomy.
This can go on deeper and deeper. So I will stop here.
The AJK is both male and female Ashwini. Male twins wrt LOC. But female wrt Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir is female in the sense it is south of LOC but also male in the sense it is North of India.
As a male it can be divided into north and south region. North(Kashmir) and South(Jammu) are male Ashwini wrt India. South(Jammu) is female wrt Kashmir(Pakistan.)
Jammu and Kashmir and Ladhak are North of India but South of LOC. But both are side by side.
The North is Kargil. So male wrt Leh.
The South is Leh. So female wrt Kargil.
What the difference in there political preferences can be seen in table above.

In simplest terms
I am more a brother to younger sister. The female part is small but want total independence. The male part is large and want more autonomy ie more power locally.
I am more a sister to elder sister. The male part is small but want total independence. The female part is large and want more autonomy ie more power locally.
But what’s the reason it’s not happening ?
I think it is not happening because people have totally delusional views about the world.
Whatever the local people of various districts region want want, there must some peaceful way of achieving it. We just have to change our perceptions. It is only possible if we are willing.
I think If Kashmir issue is solved then all of the political issues in the world will be solved taking it as an example.
They don’t really know me. Unless they know me it won’t happen. They haven’t faced any tragedies that will make question everything in their life.
I ask whole of my country and the world to atleast spread my words as much as you can do that this could happen as soon as it can.
